Our process
How this job runs, step by step
On-site walk
We meet you at the property, measure the footprint, look at access for our 35,000-lb excavator and identify anything special — pool, septic, oil tank, mature trees to protect.
Fixed quote
Written proposal in 24 hours: demo, permits, asbestos survey, hauling and grading — one number, no change orders unless scope changes.
Permits & utilities
We pull the demo permit, schedule the asbestos survey, and coordinate Atmos cut & cap, Oncor pull, and water shut-off so you don't make a single phone call.
Demo day
Crew arrives at 7 AM, sets up silt fence and dust control, drops the structure, sorts metals and concrete on the spot, then hauls and grades.
Pricing
What it actually costs
Most DFW house demolitions land between $8,000 and $18,000 — driven by square footage, foundation type (slab is fastest, basement adds a day), and whether asbestos abatement is required. A typical 1,800 sq ft slab-on-grade ranch in Garland or Mesquite runs $9,500–$12,000 all-in. We give you the number in writing before we touch the property.

FAQ
Questions we hear all the time
How long does a house demolition take?
Once permits are in hand, the on-site work for a typical single-family home is 1–2 days for the structure and another half-day to remove the foundation and grade. Total elapsed time from contract to clean lot is usually 2–4 weeks because of permit and utility-disconnect lead times.
Do I need an asbestos survey before tearing down my house?
In Texas, the TCEQ requires a licensed asbestos inspection on any structure built before 1985 — and most municipalities require it on every demolition regardless of age. We schedule the inspector for you and include the survey in our quote.
Will demolition damage my neighbor's property?
Our operators run a hydraulic excavator with a thumb attachment, which lets us pull the structure inward rather than dropping it outward. We also set silt fence on shared property lines and run a water cannon for dust suppression. Pre-demo we photograph the neighboring fence and walls so there's no dispute later.
Do you remove the foundation too?
Yes — slab, pier-and-beam, and basement removal is included in our standard scope. We break and haul the concrete (most of it gets crushed and reused as road base) and backfill basements with compacted select fill.
What about the trees on my lot?
We protect anything you want to keep. Tell us during the site walk and we'll fence the drip line, route equipment around it, and the operator will work knowing that tree stays.
