Backyard walk

Written quote in 24–48 hours. Once you sign, we pull the city demo permit — usually 5–10 business days in Dallas-area municipalities.
Break & backfill
Drain the pool, cut and remove deck, break the shell, haul concrete to recycling. Backfill with engineered fill in 8" lifts with mechanical compaction.
Finish & turf
Final lift is topsoil. We re-sod with St. Augustine or Bermuda (your choice), or hydroseed if you prefer. Final-grade walk with you before we sign off.

Most DFW partial pool removals run $7,500–$13,000 for a standard 15x30 gunite pool with concrete decking and reasonable gate access. Full removal of the same pool typically runs $14,000–$22,000. Questions we hear all the time
What's the difference between partial and full pool removal?
In a partial removal, we break the top 2–3 feet of the pool shell into the bowl, punch drainage holes in the deepest section, and backfill the rest. It's faster, cheaper, and the result looks identical to a yard. In a full removal, we excavate and haul the entire shell, then bring in compacted select fill so the area can support a future structure. Partial works for 80% of homeowners.
Will the ground settle later?
Not when it's done right. We backfill in 8-inch lifts with mechanical compaction between each lift, and we test compaction with a nuclear density gauge on full-removal jobs. You get a signed compaction report. Settling happens when crews dump fill loose and walk away — that's not how we work.
Do I have to disclose a removed pool when I sell?
In Texas, yes — the Seller's Disclosure Notice asks about prior swimming pools and any partial-removal backfill. Buyers' inspectors can usually see the disturbed area for several years anyway. Most agents tell us it's a non-issue on partial removals because buyers prefer 'no pool' to 'pool needing $30k of work.'
Can you remove the pool deck and equipment too?
Yes, both are included in our standard scope. The concrete deck gets broken up and hauled with the shell concrete. Pump, filter, heater, plumbing and the equipment pad come out, and we coordinate the electrical disconnect at the breaker.
How fast can you start?
Site walk and quote happen within 48 hours of your call. The biggest schedule variable is the city demo permit (5–10 business days). Once permitted, the on-site work is 3–5 days for partial removals and 5–8 days for full removals.
